Teaching

The ROGLE group teaches business management at university level. To assist people who need to deliver Operations Management education online, the group organizes the videos it has recorded over the past years around topics.

Open teaching materials

Institutional repository ROGLE. Teaching materials The group's collection in RiUNET, the repository of the UPV: cases, texts and course materials, with their licence. Opens riunet.upv.es, the repository of the UPV.

Simulation without writing code

Open material of the course Ampliación y Dirección de Operaciones (Master in Industrial Engineering, UPV). Students describe a process in natural language, an AI translates it into a declarative model (YAML) and an engine written once simulates it, measures the indicators with confidence intervals and animates it. What is assessed is no longer programming a simulator, but specifying a system, validating it and deciding with it.

Open material · GitHub Simulación sin escribir código A discrete-event simulation engine, session 0 and labs 1 to 3 (emergency room, assembly line, supply chain), the student guide and the language reference. In Spanish. Opens github.com. Code under the MIT licence; texts and materials under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

You can use, copy and adapt it, crediting the authors (Alberto Lacort Burgos and the ROGLE Group) and, for the texts, without commercial use and sharing alike. The final project of the course is not published: it is assessment material.

Teaching material

Under construction. We are still gathering more teaching material of the group: subjects, cases, slides and solved problems. It will be published here, with its licence, when it is ready.
