What ROGLE is

Members of ROGLE work in areas related to industrial engineering and operations management, such as continuous improvement, production planning and control, inventory management, logistics systems design, group work, sustainability and human resources management.

The group’s activity covers education, research and transfer to industry, with a strong commitment to social and environmental sustainability.

The main sectors in which the group has worked are the automotive industry, food, ceramic tiles, retail distribution and health care.

Fer rogle

In Valencian, rogle is a circle of people, and “fer rogle” means to gather in a circle. The symbol shows five people in a circle, each embracing the group with a crescent.

Work on labour inclusion

A research line of special interest is the application of industrial engineering and operations management techniques to increase work accessibility for people with disabilities.

The range of activities goes from software design for production planning and scheduling to the development of in-company courses that build firms’ capabilities.
