- process improvement and lean production; adapting operations management tools in work environments with people with intellectual disabilities
Julio Juan García-Sabater es profesor titular del departamento de Organización de Empresas de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Imparte asignaturas relacionadas con la gestión de Empresas y la mejora continua en la escuela de Ingenieros Industriales. Es investigador del grupo ROGLE y ha participado en diferentes proyectos financiados por instituciones tanto públicas como privadas. Su área de investigación y de transferencia de tecnología están centrada en mejora de procesos y de producción ajustada, tanto en el sector industrial como el de servicios. En este sentido ha desarrollado proyectos con empresas del sector del automóvil, mueble, electrónico y sector sanitario. Además, tiene una línea de trabajo importante en la adaptación de herramientas de dirección de operaciones en entornos de trabajo con personas con discapacidad intelectual.
